Bruno Mars’ Early Life

Bruno Mars was born on October 8, 1985, in Honolulu, Hawaii. His father was a Latin percussionist and his mother was a vocalist and hula dancer, as per a Britannica report.

Nicknamed Bruno as a toddler, he began performing at age four as an Elvis Presley impersonator with his parents’ band, the Love Notes. As a teenager, he performed as a Michael Jackson impersonator and taught himself piano, guitar, bass and percussion.

After high school, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue music and adopted the stage name Bruno Mars.

Bruno Mars’ Music Career
