Quordle, March 9: Hints and answers for today's puzzle

Lexophiles who use Wordle and are seeking a challenge—such as four words to tackle simultaneously—are fast tackling Quordle.

Users of the more difficult Wordle variation Quordle must respond to four questions with five-letter answers in a single session. So if you have to concentrate on four words at once, this game is for you.

A letter is highlighted in green if it properly fits the term. It is recommended to write a letter in black or grey if it does not suit the term. It is highlighted in yellow if a letter is necessary for the word but is not in the right location.

A player has nine chances to win, and throughout those chances, he must figure out the answers to all four words.


Hints for Quordle, March 9:

  • Starting words: M, M, O and D
  • Ending words: R, Y, C, and L
  • Word 1: a mammal's rear teeth that grind.
  • Word 2: join together and harmoniously combine
  • Word 3: lens or other optical components of an optical instrument
  • Word 4: strange or peculiar qualities that elicit dry humor
