Quordle, February 8: Hints and answers for today's puzzle

Quordle is a more challenging variant of Wordle that requires users to answer four words with five letters in one session. So this game is for you if you have to focus on four words at once.

If a letter fits the word perfectly, it gets highlighted in green. If a letter does not fit the word, it is advised to write it in black or grey. If a letter is needed for the word but is not in the proper place, it is highlighted in yellow.

A player is allowed nine attempts, and throughout those attempts, he must figure out the solutions to all four words.

Hints for today’s Quordle:

• Word 1 (top left) : Eight items
• Word 2 (top right): "A brief apparition." There is also an app where you can pay famous people to write you a customized note.
• Word 3 (bottom left): Move purposefully and stiffly.

• Word 4 (bottom right): M.I.A. wants to take yours in her song "Paper Planes." You also need it for purchases.
• Each letter in two words is used twice.
• Words today begin with O, C, S, and M.
