Qin Gang, China's ex-high flying foreign minister, is now working in a low publishing role

Qin Gang was one of China's most powerful diplomat and politician. But the former foreign minister faced a fall from grace. As per a report, Qin Gang is now serving as a low-level publisher. According to a report by The Washington Post, Qin Gang is now working in a low-level publishing company after receiving a foul from Chinese President Xi Jinping.

Two US officials who wanted to be anonymous, told the publication that Qin, the former politician has now employed at World Affairs Press. It is a publishing company which is associated with China's foreign ministry. The officials shared with the publication that the demotion took place suddenly. One described it as a "fall from grace" and another one claimed it ,"he's off the hook." One source stated to the post, "He's not going to jail, but his career is over."

Among the officials, one person told the outlet the demotion of Qin Gang is like a warning to others. Previously, Qin was one of the most powerful person of China and most trustable person according to Xi. He secured the position of foreign minister and member of China's state council. He grasp the top notch position quickly. Qin Gang is also recognized as the most prominent of a new generation of new generation of "wolf warrior" officials, who brought an aggressive and confrontational approach to China's diplomacy.
