The highly anticipated Netflix film, Purple Hearts, has been released on Friday. In the movie, Nicholas Galitzine and Sofia Carson are the main protagonists, who fall in love with each other deeply. Chosen Jacob and Kendall Chappel also star in it, alongside others.

The film has been directed by Elizabeth Allen Rosenbaum while the screenplay has been carried out by Liz W. Garcia and Kyle Jarrow.

According to the movie's official summary, "Luke (Nicholas Galitzine), a troubled marine, and Cassie (Sofia Carson), a struggling singer-songwriter, agree to get married only for military reasons, despite their numerous differences."


Tragedy strikes, and the line between reality and pretension fades away. Critics did not like the film much and called it corny. However, the fans of the movie loved the cheesy and emotional vibe that the film had.
