Prostate cancer patients across the UK are facing a worry in form of diagnosis, according to Prostate Cancer UK, a registered charity in England and Wales. Prostate Cancer UK has said that the GPs must focus on PSA blood testing, according to a Guardian report.

PSA blood testing is generally prescribed for men at risk of prostate cancer.

According to Prostate Cancer UK, the diagnosis at advanced stage depends on the location where the patient resides.


Prostate Cancer UK study has found that in London, 12.5 per cent of men are diagnosed at the stage 4. This means that cancer has already spread to other parts, a stage which is known as metastatic cancer. In Scotland, the number goes beyond 35 per cent.
