Princess Charlotte stops younger brother Prince Louis's hand from waving during carriage ride
Trooping the Colour just got more colourful today due to Princess Charlotte holding down Prince Louis’ hand in an elderly sister act.

Trooping the Colour is a parade that is celebrated with much pomp in the UK every year. This is the day the Royals, have been over the centuries, coming out in front of their subjects and being acknowledged for their successful rule. This parade has been held since 1748 when it commemorated the birthday of the ruler.
Trooping the Colour was celebrated throughout the Commonwealth where people came out and paid obeisance to the sovereign. On the appointed day the Royals follow a traditional itinerary that has been conducted over the years. The Royal Family along with the Queen travel down The Mall from Buckingham Palace with the escort of the Royal Household Cavalry. This escort comprises the Royal Mounted Troops of the Horse Guards.
The Queen receives the Royal Salute post which she inspects the guard of honour which would be the foot as well as the mounted Household Troops. Every year a particular regiment is given the honour of marching past the Queen, carrying the colours that were a rallying point on the battlefield. As the troops do a march past the Queen, the music is provided by the Mounted Music Band and the Corps of Drums, sometimes having around 400 musicians.
Post the parade, the Queen returns with the other Royals to Buckingham Palace, where she views another march past outside the gates. After that, there is a 41 gun salute in honour of the Queen at Green Park, followed by a fly past by the Royal Airforce, which the Royals along with the Queen view from the palace balcony. This year Trooping the Colour commemorates the 70 years of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s rule of the United Kingdom.
