President's mental decline: Biden struggled to speak a year before leaving the Presidential race

Bob Woodward, the renowned journalist in his latest book titled ‘War’ claimed that US President Joe Biden has started showing signs of cognitive decline at several fundraising events nearly over a year before he withdrew from the US Presidential race, reported Fox News. The book War includes various testimonies of several attendees who described Joe Biden as someone who looked frighteningly awful while resembling a senile grandfather.

According to Fox News, President of Liberties Journal Bill Reichblum claimed that Joe Biden heavily struggled to complete simple sentences and often repeated himself during speeches of fundraisers in the year 2023 which led to severe concerns regarding his mental state.

Several other witnesses from different fundraisers had also noted that Joe Biden was having difficulties focusing on his speech even while having notecards in hand and struggled to recall simple terms such as veteran. Fox News noted that in spite of having these observations, several Democratic allies defended the cognitive abilities of Joe Biden until his absolute poor debate performance against former US President Donald Trump during late June of the year 2023.
