Arsenal on Saturday sent a stern message to Manchester City and Manchester United that Mikel Arteta's men have the stamina to eke out a victory from the jaws of defeat. The top ranked Premier League side defeated bottom placed Bournemouth. The palpable sense of euphoria at Arsenal's home venue Emirates Stadium suggested that supporters are awaiting for a new dawn after decade of disappointment.

Will Arsenal Win Premier League Title?

Arsenal won the Premier League Title in 2003/04 when Arsène Wenger's "The Invincibles" became only team in the competition's history to remain undefeated in the entire campaign.

Though Mikel Arteta's don't have that impeccable record as the team has lost three matches out of total 26 they played so far in the Premier League.

Experts consider 95 points as a safe mark for a side to win Premier League title. That means Arsenal will have to garner 32 points from the remaining 12 matches. However, Manchester City won the last season's title with 93 points, Liverpool finished with 92 points.

This season Arsenal have five-point gap over second placed Manchester City after playing same number of matches. That's odds are favouring Arsenal to end their Premier League drought after nearly two decades.

Arsenal vs Bournemouth match report

Arsenal's Reiss Nelson was the hero as his 97th-minute goal completed an incredible comeback from a 2-0 deficit to a 3-2 triumph over Bournemouth. A well-executed kick-off routine was completed by Philip Billing at the back post to give the Cherries the lead after just nine seconds of an odd match at a boisterous Emirates Stadium.

Despite controlling 80 per cent of the ball and registering 30 total shots on goal against the relegation-threatened team, Mikel Arteta's team still trailed after Marco Senesi's header from a corner.

Yet the youthful Arsenal team showed no signs of giving up, scoring twice in the space of seven minutes to tie the score. Both goals were scored unexpectedly, as White completed Nelson's cross and Partey finished Emile Smith Rowe's header at the back post.

Nelson curled home with the game's last kick to cause chaos at the Emirates, maintaining Arsenal's five-point advantage at the top of the standings as they fought valiantly for a victory.
