The Powerball jackpot has surged to an estimated $654 million ahead of the November 24 drawing, fueling excitement across the country. Monday night’s drawing drew plenty of attention, but officials have not yet announced whether the top prize was claimed.

If no ticket matches all six numbers, the jackpot will roll over again, potentially making the November 26 drawing even larger. Players are encouraged to check their tickets, as numerous secondary prizes - ranging from thousands to millions - were awarded.

According to Powerball.com, the winner can choose between the full $654 million annuity paid over 30 years with annual 5% increases, or a lump-sum payout of $303.2 million before taxes.

With odds of just 1 in 292.2 million, Powerball’s long-shot structure allows jackpots to climb quickly when no grand-prize winner emerges. Millions nationwide continue to play in hopes of securing a life-changing fortune.

Just last month, on September 6, players in Missouri and Texas split a massive $1.787 billion jackpot - the second-largest in U.S. lottery history - ending a run of 41 consecutive drawings without a winner.
