The Powerball jackpot has surged to an estimated $1.10 billion for the Monday (September 1) drawing after no ticket matched all numbers in Saturday’s draw. A jackpot winner, if someone matches all five numbers and the Powerball, would have the option of taking an estimated lump-sum cash payout worth $498.4 million.

In 2025, four players have already struck it rich. The year began with a $328.5 million win in Oregon on January 18, followed by a $527 million prize on March 29. Kentucky produced a $167.3 million winner on April 26, while California most recently claimed a $204.5 million jackpot on May 31.

Monday’s draw will mark the 40th instance since the jackpot was last claimed on May 31, just two shy of the record 42 consecutive drawings without a winner set in April 2024.

With the jackpot rolling over again, excitement around Powerball is growing as players chase one of the year’s largest prizes. As of now, lottery officials have not announced any Powerball jackpot winners.
