Powerball jackpot reaches staggering $875 million as winning ticket remains elusive
The recent drawing marked the 36th consecutive Powerball drawing without a jackpot winner.

The estimated grand prize for the upcoming Saturday drawing has now reached an astonishing $875 million, as stated on the official lottery website. The lump-sum cash value, before tax deductions, is estimated at a remarkable $441.9 million.
During Wednesday's draw, the winning numbers were 23, 35, 45, 66, and 67, with the Powerball number being 20. Although no player matched all six numbers, two fortunate individuals from Florida and Indiana each secured a $1 million prize by correctly guessing the first five numbers.
Remarkably, this marks the 36th consecutive Powerball drawing without a jackpot winner. The previous jackpot, amounting to $252.6 million, was claimed by a ticket holder in Ohio on April 19.
A fortunate Californian individual who was the winner of the record-breaking $2.04 billion Powerball jackpot in November of last year currently holds the title. Intriguingly, there are currently two staggering prizes, each over the half-billion-dollar threshold, awaiting possible winners in the Mega Millions game since no winning tickets were selected on Tuesday. The projected $560 million Mega Millions jackpot for Friday's drawing has been reached.
