A high-profile arrest of Chinese casino kingpin She Zhejiang at a Japanese restaurant by the Thai police has sent sigh of relief in the law enforcerment agencies, media report said. She has been absconding for a long time now, and has an international arrest warrant against him. He shall be sent back to China as per the protocol maintained by Interpol.
A brand new city is being built on the border with Thailand in Myanmar, the report said citing the Thai Police. There is a divided area in the entire region, and the law enforcers have not been able to go there. The lawlessness in the area is dotted with hotels and casinos and serves as the hotbed of crime, the report said citing human-rights groups.
