Tesla has been flourishing in its operations of automaking in 2024, backed by a bullish market sentiment at the US stock market. However, Elon Musk is not looking quite active in Tesla's daily affairs, with top shareholder of the company even claiming that the CEO is 'not working' at Tesla due to his other commitments in different ventures, and his new sweetheart: politics.

Are Tesla workers fuming over Elon Musk's distractions?

According to a Daily Express US report, Elon Musk is facing serious backlash from one of Tesla's key investors, especially due to the fact that the billionaire business tycoon was busy dedicating his time to politics and other activities. Donald Trump, after his superb win in the US Presidential elections 2024, promised to place Musk co-in-charge of a new federal department, known as the Department of Government Efficiency, or DOGE. Musk will have to take charge of this federal department along with Vivek Ramaswamy, another close figure of the current President-elect.

With all of these lying on his shoulders, along with two of his other highly-valued companies, SpaceX and X, Musk may be getting too consumed, and that is reflecting on his overall division of time. Since Tesla is flourishing well over time, it could be a reason why that is currently not on his top-priority list, but that may have to change now after the key investor pointed out these issues on Musk's part.
