In the film, Ben, Martin, and John, childhood pals turned underachieving colleagues, tackle hairless bears, desperate park rangers (played by Meg Stalter and X Mayo), and a hypocritical cult leader (Bowen Yang) in their quest to uncover a priceless treasure. It's narrated by John Goodman, with a cameo by Conan O'Brien as Ben's father.
The trio wrote the script for the movie and it's directed by "SNL" alum Paul Briganti. These comedians made their name through absurd digital shorts, much like The Lonely Island. Their skits frequently feature "SNL" hosts and special guests, like Taylor Swift and Pete Davidson in "Three Sad Virgins," Rami Malek in "Rami Wants a Treat," and Paul Rudd, John Mulaney, and Al Roker in "Good Variant."
