What makes Skate Story stand out this month?

Skate Story brings something entirely different to the service. It’s a surreal skateboarding experience set in a shimmering, glass-covered world, and early reactions have been overwhelmingly positive. Players have praised its “outlandish story,” “surreal locations” and “satisfying trick mechanics.” Created by Sam Eng, known for the indie shooter Zarvot, the game is available exclusively to PS5 users, as per a report by Engadget.

Which major titles headline the December lineup?

A big highlight is Assassin’s Creed Mirage, which lands on both PS4 and PS5. Released in 2023, this entry returns to the franchise’s roots with a “back to basics” approach that longtime fans often asked for. Also joining the catalog is Granblue Fantasy: Relink, a 3D action RPG that began as a mobile title but arrives on console with music from Nobuo Uematsu and art direction from Hideo Minaba, names closely tied to the Final Fantasy legacy.
