Pikmin 4: Release date, trailer, gameplay updates

Pikmin 4 details were revealed during Nintendo Direct 2023 on Wednesday. Nintendo has also released HD versions of the first two Pikmin video games. The official gameplay trailer of Pikmin 4 was also released during Nintendo Direct 2023 event today.

Pikmin 4 Video Game

Pikmin 4 becomes the first mainline Pikmin game since Pikmin 3 which was released in 2013.


Pikmin 4 also features a mini-game "Dandori Battle" whIch can used to collect items to overpower opponents.

Pikmin 4 also allows gamers to go for night expeditions. A glow Pikmin appears during the night expeditions. Old Pikmin games used to force gamers return before sunset.

"Welcome to the Rescue Corps. In this game, you are the newest recruit, and you’ll customize your character before setting off to meet the capable Rescue Pup Oatchi and the plant-like creatures called Pikmin," Nintendo's official statement on Pikmin 4.

Pikmin 4 demo will be available on eShop from June 28.
