Phoenix Sun eyeing Frank Vogel as head coach: Report
Phoenix Suns are reported to be planning a deal to hire Frank Vogel as their new coach.

Frank Vogel is currently 49 years old and he has previously served as the coach for the Los Angeles Lakers, the Orlando Magic as well as the Indiana Pacers.
During his tenure with the Lakers, Vogel played a pivotal role in leading the team to an NBA championship in 2020. However, he was subsequently fired in 2022. Prior to his time with the Lakers, Vogel had coaching stints with the Magic and the Pacers.
Vogel will be taking over the coaching responsibilities from Monty Williams, who had an impressive record of 194 wins and 115 losses during his four seasons with the Suns. Williams also received the prestigious NBA Coach of the Year award last season, following the Suns' exceptional performance of winning 64 regular-season games.
As the news of Phoneix Sun came into light, several users on social media expressed their opinion the same. One user wrote, “Good for Frank Vogel. I'm sure he'll have Suns as a defensive presence,” while another wrote, “If you’re gonna hire Frank Vogel that means the Suns are going to have to build the roster a certain way for him to succeed, and we should get some good offensive assistants to help him out.”
It is worth mentioning that Williams, who has reportedly signed a remarkable deal to coach the Detroit Pistons, played a significant role in guiding the Suns to their first NBA finals appearance since 1993 in 2021.
