Philadelphia: President Joe Biden touts unions, job creation at Labor Day rally

President Joe Biden has told a crowd gathered in Philadelphia for a Labor Day parade he's “celebrating jobs, good-paying jobs, jobs you can raise a family on, union jobs.”The Democratic president was at the Tri-State Labor Day Parade on Monday, speaking about the importance of unions. Biden likes to say he’s the most pro-union president in history. He has used executive actions to promote worker organizing and has authorized federal funding to aid union members’ pensions.(AP)
