MLB's 44 international media partners broadcast the performance and player introductions to audiences in over 200 countries in 16 languages. The World Series marks the first time Toronto has hosted the Fall Classic since 1993.
Thirteen-time GRAMMY Award-winning artist, Academy Award-nominated musician and filmmaker, philanthropist and Louis Vuitton menswear Creative Director Pharrell Williams took the field with Bishop Ezekiel Williams' group Voices of Fire. The performance featured "ARE YOU READY?" and "THE ONE" from the choir's new album OPHANIM, available exclusively at voicesoffire.com.

Voices of Fire perform US and Canadian national anthems
Voices of Fire performed both the US National Anthem and the Canadian National Anthem before first pitch. An ensemble composed of a local Toronto orchestra and additional performers accompanied Voices of Fire during the rendition of the Canadian National Anthem to honor the international setting of the World Series.October Hits Different campaign featured Pharrell performance
MLB's 2025 Postseason campaign, "October Hits Different," reflected the anticipation of October Baseball. Pharrell, Voices of Fire and a 25-piece orchestra recorded a live rendition of "ARE YOU READY?" in an empty stadium while season highlights and player footage illustrated connections between gameplay and artistic performance. The song served as background music celebrating competitive moments leading to the Fall Classic.With the Postseason concluding, fans heard the campaign's soundtrack performed live as the opening to the championship series.

World Series Game 1 results
Toronto defeated Los Angeles 11-4 in Game 1 on Friday, October 24. The Blue Jays scored nine runs in the sixth inning, including a grand slam by Addison Barger. Game 2 is scheduled for Saturday, October 25, at 8 p.m. ET at Rogers Centre.The Jonas Brothers will perform "I Can't Lose" before Game 2 as part of MLB's partnership with Mastercard Stand Up To Cancer. Bebe Rexha will sing the American national anthem while Alessia Cara will perform the Canadian national anthem.
