Pet Cat jumps into Amazon Return Box, found miles away in California

After a full anxious week, Carrie Clark who is a mother of two from Salt Lake City, Utah and had lost her pet cat Galena, was reunited with the cat, miles away in California.

Describing her trauma to Fox News, Carrie describes how she lost Galena on April 10 from their home. What followed was a frantic search across the neighbourhood which only led to more disappointment. Just when she had given up all her hope being reunited with her pet, she received a call from a veterinarian in California.

What followed was a confirmation of her address, phone number and the name of the veterinarian whose services she used in Utah.


Once these details were confirmed, she flew down to California, only to be reunited with her cat.

Galena has been around with the Clarks for more than 6 years.

Carrie’s husband had ordered 6 pairs of boots and kept one while deciding to return others. While he had brought the return boxes and was packing, it is believed that Galena slipped into one of the boxes.

One of the Amazon night workers found her in California before taking her to a veterinary. It was the chip on Galena that led to her safe reunification with the Clarks.
