The list of the world’s most powerful passports got a little competition which is interesting but folks who hold it must be feeling proud and overwhelmed. For those unaware, Henley & Partner releases a list annually ranking countries’ passports based on access.

This index, as the report claims, is “the only one of its kind based on exclusive data from the International Air Transport Authority (IATA)” and it includes over 199 passports along with 227 travel destinations.

Singapore has topped the list, beating the five-time winner Japan
Japan now stands at #3
The UK now stands at #4, levelling up since its previous year’s position at #6
US has fallen by one position to #8 in the 2023 Ranking
