On October 19, Hilton shared a series of photos of her son's first trip to New York City on Instagram. However, a TikTok user pointed out the negative comments the post received. Hilton responded by stating that her son is perfectly healthy and just has a large brain.
In an Instagram story, Hilton further elaborated on her response to the remarks about her son's head. She expressed that while comments are inevitable in the spotlight, targeting her child or anyone else's is unacceptable. Hilton shared that the public's response has deeply hurt her and emphasized that she has worked hard to create an environment of love, respect, and acceptance.
Hilton also mentioned that her social media presence has exposed her to criticism while navigating parenthood. She explained that if she doesn't post about her baby, people assume she's not a great mother, and if she does post, some individuals are cruel and hateful. Hilton proudly stated that she is a working mom, and her baby is healthy, adorable, and angelic.
She described her son as the biggest blessing in her life and expressed gratitude for being a mother.
Hilton, 42, and her husband Carter Reum secretly welcomed their first child, Phoenix, on January 16, 2021, using a surrogate. Hilton shared the news on Instagram, posting a close-up photo of her holding Phoenix's hand. She also mentioned that she receives support from her parents, Kathy Hilton and Rick Hilton, in raising their little guy.
Hilton expressed her gratitude for her close relationship with her family, stating that she often seeks advice from her mother and sister Nicky Hilton. She considers herself lucky to have a strong support system.
