Paddington is back in the new trailer for "Paddington in Peru." The film, the third in the series, will release on January 17, 2025, in the U.S. and on November 8, 2024, in the UK. The film is under Sony's Columbia Pictures label and StudioCanal in the UK.

Plot

The plot follows Paddington as he returns to Peru to visit Aunt Lucy. She now lives at the Home for Retired Bears. The Brown family joins him, and their visit turns into an unexpected adventure through the Amazon rainforest and the mountains of Peru. The trailer was unveiled at a special event in London.

New Characters and Returning Cast Members

Paddington, voiced by Ben Whishaw, travels with his adoptive London family. They meet new characters, including Olivia Colman's guitar-wielding nun, who leads the retired bears' home, and Antonio Banderas' swashbuckling boat captain. Hugh Bonneville returns as Mr. Brown, introduced the trailer via a video from the "Downton Abbey 3" set. Emily Mortimer plays Mrs. Brown, replacing Sally Hawkins. Julie Walters returns as Mrs. Bird and Imelda Staunton voices Aunt Lucy again.
