Guys, the Academy has announced the second list of presenters for the 97th Oscars. Oh boy! We can’t keep calm. The list was shared on the official page of X (formerly Twitter). Won’t keep you waiting. The celebrities who will add stardust to the decorated line-up are — Halle Berry, Penelope Cruz, Elle Fanning, Whoopi Goldberg, Scarlett Johansson, John Lithgow, Amy Poehler, June Squibb, and Bowen Yang. The Academy Awards will take place on March 2 at 4 am IST.


Sharing the blockbuster news, the official page said, “Meet your second slate of presenters for the 97th Oscars.”




Earlier this month, the Academy announced Robert Downey Jr., Cillian Murphy, Da’Vine Joy Randolph and Emma Stone will return to the Dolby Theatre stage as presenters.

“They know what it’s like to hear their name called—now they’re passing the honour on. Robert Downey Jr., Cillian Murphy, Da’Vine Joy Randolph and Emma Stone are returning to the Dolby Theatre stage to present at the 97th Oscars,” the tweet read.

Oscars 2025: Winners take the stage

Cillian Murphy won the Best Actor award for his portrayal of J Robert Oppenheimer in Christopher Nolan's Oppenheimer. The film also earned Robert Downey Jr an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor for his portrayal of Lewis Strauss.

Murphy also became the first Irish-born actor to bag an Oscar.

Meanwhile, Emma Stone lifted the Best Actress trophy for her work as Bella Baxter in Poor Things.

Meanwhile, Da'Vine Joy Randolph took home the Best Supporting Actress honour for her part as Mary Lamb in The Holdovers.

Oscars 2025: Conan O’Brien to host the ceremony

According to a report in Variety, Conon O'Brien will host the big night. On March 2, the event will take place at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, beginning at 4 pm PT / 7 pm ET.

In addition to its usual broadcast on ABC, the Academy Awards will be aired live on Hulu for the first time.

Production team and direction

Rob Paine, co-executive producer, and executive producer Katy Mullan join showrunner and executive producer Raj Kapoor. The production also features contributions from Mike Sweeney, Jeff Ross, Taryn Hurd, and Sarah Levine Hall.

The lighting design is handled by Bob Dickinson and Noah Mitz, while Mandy Moore serves as the supervising choreographer.

This event will be directed by Hamish Hamilton, who has previously directed major live events and award presentations.
