The latest edition of the bags, which measure 13 inches in length, 11 inches in height, and 6 inches in width, come in delicate pink, mint green, lovely lavender, and baby blue colours.

Trader Joe's says this about tote bags’ supply

The stocks that showed up at Trader Joe's locations recently, on April 8, were sold out in almost no time. However, those who feel like they missed out on the frenzy may have a sigh of relief as the grocer has confirmed that the limited-time product is not quite beyond the grasp of shoppers yet.

"Our stores receive deliveries daily, and they will be restocked daily for as long as they are available," a spokesperson for Trader Joe’s was quoted as saying by PEOPLE on Wednesday (April 9).

The company official, however, did not mention how long it will be before the grocery store chain stops selling the product. They also said that merchandising decisions are taken at the store-level and only the staff of a particular location is aware about what is in stock and what's not.

Trader Joe's tote bag craze

According to a New York Times (NYT) report, the April 8 spree for the tote bags was marked by people camping outside Trader Joe's stores hours before they even opened. Videos on social media also showed people engaging in physical altercations with fellow shoppers over the product.

The craze for the miniature tote bags appeared to be similar to what was witnessed in March last year. The craze for the item was so much that shoppers waited in lengthy lines to grab them.

"Last year, when we introduced our Mini Canvas Totes, we were so pleasantly surprised by their rapturous reception that we’re bringing in even more Mini Totes, this time in a series of Pastel shades to herald the beginning of spring," Trader Joe's says on the website page for its mini tote bags.
