In a recent panel discussion available on YouTube, director Christopher Nolan expressed his perspective on the A24 TV show "The Curse", noting that it is "unlike anything" he has "ever seen on television before".

Crafted by Nathan Fielder and Benny Safdie, the dark comedy "The Curse" narrates the challenges faced by Whitney and Asher Siegel, a newlywed couple endeavoring to manifest their vision of eco-conscious housing in the tight-knit community of Española, N.M. However, their journey is marked by complications arising from an alleged curse and the involvement of Dougie, an eccentrically flawed reality TV producer who identifies potential in their story.


Christopher Nolan was still sleeping when his film, 'Oppenheimer', landed a leading 13 Academy Awards nominations Tuesday. Emma Thomas, Nolan's wife and producing partner, roused him after a flurry of congratulatory messages came through on her phone.

Nolan and Thomas didn't have much reason to be anxious. 'Oppenheimer', Nolan's sprawling American saga of J. Walter Oppenheimer and the creation of the atomic bomb, has more or less been the Oscar frontrunner since it made its acclaimed debut in late July. On Tuesday, it earned nominations for of its achievement, including acting nods for Cillian Murphy, Robert Downey Jr. and Emily Blunt.

It came one nomination shy of tying the record for best Oscar nominations ever.
