US President- elect Donald Trump's incoming White House is all set to dramatically reduce the number of staff members with direct access to the US President, reported NBC News.

According to NBC News, incoming Chief of Staff Susie Wiles is actually implementing a far more controlled communication structure that limits the prestigious ‘assistant to the president’ title which traditionally allows staffers direct Oval Office access.

The transition team eventually plans to funnel information primarily through deputy chiefs of staff while including trusted aides Stephen Miller, Taylor Budowich and Dan Scavino, asserted NBC News. It should be also noted that the newly appointed legislative and political affairs directors will not receive the coveted title while marking a significant departure from US President- elect Donald Trump's first administration.

This approach mirrors the organizational strategy which Chief of Staff Susie Wiles pretty successfully employed during US President- elect Donald Trump's 2024 US Presidential campaign which actually consolidated decision making among a small group of senior staff. While access will be more restricted, the plan does not prevent Donald Trump from communicating with anyone he chooses.

The actual goal is to create a more disciplined and less chaotic White House environment compared to his previous term, noted NBC News. One eminent source also put an emphasis on the fact that individual relationships with US President- elect Donald Trump will ultimately determine actual access while suggesting some flexibility in the new communication structure.
