A ranch-style home at 1365 Hillandale Drive in Bath, Summit County, Ohio, captured the attention of Zillow Gone Wild followers on social media. According to NBC4, the Zillow Gone Wild caption read, "This listing description had me at ‘spacious ranch’ (yummy) and has been owned and expanded by the same owner since the 1960s, and it brings open concept to a new level and I would not change a thing!!" The post attracted a lot of engagement. The property has since been reportedly sold for $375,000 on November 2, 2026.

How has the house evolved over nearly six decades?

The property was built in 1953 and has been owned by the same owner since the 1960s. The owner expanded the original ranch over several decades, creating a much larger house with multiple living and dining areas. The listing described the property as having an expansive collection of flexible living spaces.

The resulting layout is unconventional, with different additions connected to the main house. The property covers 3,574 square feet and sits on a 3.09-acre wooded lot. It has four bedrooms and three full bathrooms.

The unusual kitchen and pet-washing station

There is also a pet-washing area located inside the large great room and kitchen. The substantial addition features a commercial-style kitchen, dining and living spaces. It has a vaulted ceiling, skylights and extensive windows.

Multiple doors connect the great room to the deck, screened-in porch and enclosed porch. The open shower-like area caught the attention of many people online, and they joked about its unusual placement. Some compared the arrangement to the Seinfeld episode in which Kramer installs a shower garbage disposal.
