Kamala Harris has a reason to rejoice amidst the heated US election 2024 campaign as pollsters Selzer and Company has found out that the margin of error in Iowa for the Democratic nominee following the US Presidential Debate is less than that of former President Donald Trump. The hawkeye state of Iowa which has always proved to be a game changer during the Presidential Elections favoring the winner is giving indications that Kamala Harris will end up winning in Iowa alongside having fair chances in Wisconsin as well, reported CNN.

CNN noted and reported that the Mediacom Iowa Poll also known as the Des Moines Register found out after a survey that Kamala Harris is at 43 percent within the margin of error whereas Donald Trump stands at 47 percent within the margin of error, which is very unfamiliar compared to the previous US Presidential Elections held in 2016 and 2020, though it should be noted that the poll was conducted before the recent assassination attempt on Donald Trump.

Selzer Survey becomes so important in the election atmosphere because Selzer has always reported the clinical surveys compared to other pollsters in the previous US Presidential elections and Selzer finding a close race in Iowa is actually good news for the Democratic Party. In the US Presidential Election of 2016 and 2020, Selzer was the one which kept Donald Trump ahead by 7 point in Iowa, whereas Donald Trump actually won Iowa by 8 points and 9 points respectively, highlighted CNN.

CNN added, according to Selzer winning in Iowa by one of the Democratic Party or Republican Party will have grave impact over the badger state of neighboring Wisconsin as well. Donald Trump has always stood out as a better candidate in Wisconsin but Kamala Harris grabbing up Wisconsin with a surprise this time cannot be really neglected, though, winning Wisconsin will not guarantee Kamala Harris’s victory as US President and she will have to lookout for a win in at least two states among the six battleground states, said Selzer.
