Filmmaker and actor Olivia Wilde, in her latest appearance on "The Late Show With Stephen Colbert," addressed all the rumours that surrounded her new movie, titled "Don't Worry, Darling." Lately, there have been rumours that all is not well among the stars of the film. These rumours reached their peak after the viral "spitgate" incident between Chris Pine and Harry Styles. Recently, in a viral video, Harry Styles was reportedly seen spitting on Chris Pine. People believe that the viral video was from the Venice Film Festival.
There are also rumours that Wilde fired actor Shia LaBeouf from "Don't Worry Darling" due to some internal feud. Earlier, LaBeouf was originally selected for the lead role in the movie, but Wilde fired him because the actor's process was reportedly not "conducive to the ethos" of the director. LaBeouf had also fired back at Wilde, saying that he had quit the movie since there was a lack of time to rehearse. Later, Harry Styles replaced LaBeouf in the film.
Olivia Wilde addressed all these controversial matters on The Late Show. Regarding LaBeouf, Wilde stated that the actor gave her an ultimatum and asked her to choose between him and actress Florence. Wilde said she chose Florence over LaBeouf and moved on with the movie project. Wilde added that she was "very happy" with her decision. In "Don't Worry, Darling," actress Florence Pugh will play the wife of the character that LaBeouf was originally set to portray.
