American singer-songwriter Olivia Rodrigo has announced on social media on Monday (June 26) that her upcoming sophomore album, which is titled ‘Guts’, will be released later this year. The pop star also unveiled its cover art and title.

On Instagram, Rodrigo, while making the announcement about the highly anticipated sophomore record, wrote, “my sophomore album GUTS comes out september 8th. i am so proud of this record and I can’t wait to share it with you all! u can presave it now! Xoxoxoxo❤️������ (sic)”

The 20-year-old singer also shared a photo of the project’s artwork on social media. The fans of the singer have also reacted after the news about the new album broke out.

I think that’s all just a natural part of growth, and hopefully the album reflects that.”

In another statement, she said, “I made the bulk of this album during my 19th year on this earth. A year that, for me, was filled with lots of confusion, mistakes, awkwardness & good old fashioned teen angst.”
