Vistra stock also climbs on Meta nuclear power deal
The Oklo announcement followed a separate, larger nuclear power deal between Meta and Vistra, which also sent Vistra shares sharply higher before the market open. Vistra said it signed 20-year power purchase agreements to supply more than 2,600 megawatts of nuclear energy from three of its plants to support Meta’s operations in Ohio and Pennsylvania, beginning in late 2026 and ramping up through 2034, as per the IBD report.Meta’s nuclear energy strategy for AI growth
