Leon Draisaitl scored in overtime for the fourth time this playoffs as the Edmonton Oilers pulled off a stunning comeback to defeat the Florida Panthers 5-4 in overtime, leveling the Stanley Cup Final at 2-2 in Sunrise, Florida on Thursday night.

Trailing 0-3 after the first period, the Oilers roared back with goals from Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, Darnell Nurse, and Vasily Podkolzin.

Jake Walman gave the Oilers a late 4-3 lead before Sam Reinhart tied it for Panthers with just 19.5 seconds left in regulation time.

Three of the first four games in this Stanley Cup Final have gone to overtime — the first time that’s happened since 2013 and only the fifth time in NHL history.

Draisaitl's game-winner 11:18 into OT, the fourth extra session of the series, sealed a thrilling 5-4 victory for the Oilers and sent the series back to Western Canada tied at two games apiece.

Game 5 of this increasingly epic battle between two hockey powerhouses is set for Saturday night in Edmonton, with momentum hanging in the balance. Now both the teams are a couple of wins away from being champions.

The Oilers became the first road team to overcome a three-goal deficit and win a Stanley Cup Final game since the Montreal Canadiens did it against the Seattle Metropolitans in 1919. In NHL history, only six teams have managed to rally from three goals down in a Final, with the most recent comeback before this one occurring in 2006.

Oilers coach Kris Knoblauch made a change in the goal for the second consecutive game, pulling Stuart Skinner after he gave up three goals in the first period and replacing him with backup Calvin Pickard.

The crowd was on the edge of their seats throughout the thrilling contest, which was made even more electric by the presence of star couple Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, who took in the action from the stands.
