Ohio train derailment: West Virginia water utility takes major step as precautions
West Virginia water utility has taken precautionary steps following train derailment in Ohio.

Meanwhile, West Virginia American Water stated that its water treatment process was being enhanced as a precaution.
The water utility will install a secondary intake on Guyandotte River. However, the utility made clear that there won't be any change in raw water in Ohio water intake, as per the report.
The utility assured that health and safety of the customers are its priority and no water advisories was issued, according to the report.
East Palestine Mayor Trent Conaway told WFMJ all burning chemicals were completely put out. The mayor has said that clean up project would continue.
Around 50 train cars derailed on February 3 at East Palestine village of Ohio. Out of the total, 10 cars were carrying hazardous materials. While no was injured in the incident, an investigation has revealed that no one has injured, as per the report.
