How to play NYT Connections?


When the game opens, you’ll see a four-by-four grid filled with words. Your task is to select four words that belong together and submit them as a group.

  • Correct groups are removed and labeled
  • Incorrect guesses count as mistakes
  • You’re allowed up to four errors before the game ends

Players can shuffle the board at any time to help spot patterns. Like Wordle, Connections resets daily at midnight, allowing just one attempt per day.
