Now Diddy's childhood friends say his mom, Janice, threw wild parties

The new documentary Diddy: The Making of a Bad Boy reveals insights into Sean Diddy Combs' childhood, including his mom Janice's wild parties, his challenging upbringing, and his determined hustle to break into the music industry.

In a new documentary, Diddy's childhood pals describe his upbringing and assert that Mom Janice hosted extravagant parties. Those who knew Sean Diddy Combs as a young man are interviewed for the new documentary Diddy: The Making of a Bad Boy, and some of them have theories about how he came to be the person he is today.

Tim Patterson, who was raised in Mount Vernon, New York, alongside Diddy made a distinction between the man who was born Sean Combs and the one who went by Puffy, Brother Love, and other monikers. "I don't know Diddy or Daddy Love; I know Sean."

In the movie, which has its Peacock premiere on Tuesday, January 14, Patterson states, "I don't know those people; I don't know them; I swear I don't know them; I never met those people." "I have to let people know about his early years that they are unaware of," as quoted in a report by US Weekly.

According to Ron Lawrence, the rapper's Howard University classmate, Diddy knew early on that he wanted to pursue a music career. After his second year, he left college.

However, Diddy's legacy has been tarnished by his September 2024 arrest on charges of human trafficking, racketeering conspiracy, and transportation to engage in prostitution.

Patterson claimed that Diddy's mother, Janice Combs, inherited money after her husband's death, which allowed her and her kids to move to a nicer neighbourhood in Mount Vernon

Did Diddy’s mom influence his party lifestyle?

Diddy, an infamous party host known for throwing wild, lavish parties, was believed to have inherited this trait from his mother, Janice. Sean had no father, and his mom and family were always busy with parties.
Diddy was around various people, including alcohol, reefer smoke, drug addicts, lesbians, homosexuals, pimps, and pushers. It was not difficult to find people hooking up in the home, with some even getting naked in one of the bedrooms.

This was a common occurrence, but not aware of it. Diddy never attended a party hosted by Janice but heard stories about her having a crew of chicks who made sure everyone was comfortable. Patterson claims that this was a part of their upbringing and was not desensitizing them.
