The funeral of Barnaby Webber, a victim of the Nottingham attacks, was held on Friday, a month after the tragic incident claimed the life of the 19-year-old student. Family and friends gathered in Taunton, Somerset, to honor Barnaby's memory. He was attacked and killed while walking home from a night out on Ilkeston Road in Nottingham on June 13.

The funeral service took place at Taunton Minister church, with hundreds of people in attendance, including Barnaby's friends from the University of Nottingham and Taunton School. Following the conclusion of the service, a private cremation will be held for the history student.

During the service, Barnaby's brother, Charlie, delivered a heartfelt address, sharing cherished memories of their time together. He expressed his initial feelings of anger upon learning about the tragic incident, expressing a desire to unleash his anger upon the world. However, he realized that his anger was rooted in pride.

"The pride I feel that you didn't run, you didn't hide. You stood your ground and died being the person you always were. My hero," Charlie said.

Barnaby Webber, an avid cricketer, lost his life alongside Grace O'Malley-Kumar, another University of Nottingham student, aged 19, from Woodford, London. The two friends were fatally stabbed while walking home after a night out.

Ian Coates, a 65-year-old school caretaker, was also killed approximately an hour later. The inquest into their deaths revealed that all three victims had succumbed to stab wounds.
