Panic-stricken passengers
A panic-stricken person is heard shouting during the stomach-churning incident, "Lay on the floor!" According to SWNS, 75-year-old Brian Launder and his wife, Carole were on the ship when a massive wave hit it and they saw waves reaching their cabin windows on the fifth deck and water gushing through the corridors.
"Lifeboats were ready"
He shared his experience and told SWNS, "At one stage they were getting the lifeboats ready." He said further, "The cruise had to be cut short as they had to cut through the storm. We spent lots of hours not moving with no power. We talked to the officers and they estimated the waves were 15 to 20 meters."
