North Korea fires 4 more ballistic missiles as US conducts military drills with South Korea
The recent military developments have indicated rising tensions in the Korean peninsula.

According to the Joint Chiefs of Staff of South Korea, North Korea fired four short-range missiles that flew about 80 miles (130 kilometres) toward the western sea of the country. The official stated that the joint air force drill was a demonstration of the readiness of allies to "sternly respond" to the North's provocations.
This week, North Korea test-fired over 30 missiles, including an intercontinental ballistic missile. The ballistic missile, fired on November 3, had resulted in evacuation alerts in northern Japan.
Besides, North Korea flew several warplanes inside its territory. As per the statement issued by the South Koran military, two B-1B bombers participated with four South Korean F-35 fighter jets and four US F-16 jets during the last day of the joint air force drill called "Vigilante Storm." The air force drill involved about 240 fighter jets from both countries.
While calling the US-South Korea joint military exercise an exhibition of US "military confrontation hysteria," the foreign minister of North Korea stated that Pyongyang would respond with the "toughest counteraction" to attempts infringing on their security interests.
