Noah Lyles was seen being taken off track in a wheelchair after the men's 200m finals race completed and he was seen slumped to the ground after coming in third in the race. Lyles was seen struggling and trailing behind other participants, even though he was in great form. However, form and physique had nothing to do with the issues surrounding the American star athlete but it was COVID instead, that spoiled plans of a third gold medal in the Paris Olympics 2024.

Lyles didn't stop after contacting COVID

Lyles was to participate in men's 200m finals soon, but on a bright Tuesday morning, he woke up and did not feel very good, and informed the doctors about the same. The doctors informed Lyles that he had contacted COVID, but that did not stop him from still participating in the men's 200m finals later on. This is a true spirit of determination from the athlete, even after knowing about severe health scares.
