Nicole Kidman has taken decisive measures to begin a new chapter in her life after the finalization of her divorce from Keith Urban. The former pair, both 58, officially dissolved their marriage on January 6, 2026, in what was stated as amicable and a “clean break”, concluding almost 20 years together. Kidman filed for divorce on September 30, 2025, stating irreconcilable differences following the split initially being reported on September 29.
Primary Custody Details
Currently, Kidman has received primary custody of their two daughters, Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 15, and is going forward with her personal life. To signify this fresh phase, she has sold one of her Sydney harborfront apartments, featuring a new beginning after the end of her marriage to Urban. The three-bedroom Milsons Point apartment was sold for $8.5 million, just two years after Kidman bought it for $7.725 million in 2023, netting a cost $775,000 profit. The unreported mid-2025 sale gained little attention because of the actress’s multiple business projects, but property records indicate that the buyer was winemaker David Madson, according to the Daily Mail. The apartment, on the 15th floor of the exclusive Latitude complex on Lavender Street, provides breathtaking views of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House.
Splitting a Global Property Portfolio

Earlier acquisitions are a 420-square-metre pad on the 21st floor in 2009, a 380-square-metre unit next door in 2012, and a 19th-floor apartment in 2011 primarily used by Kidman as a home office.
