Trump adviser Alex Bruesewitz confirmed Nicki Minaj’s financial contribution to MS NOW, as reported by CNBC. It is not clear yet who will receive the money from Minaj’s contribution. The New York Post, which first reported the news, said the money may help Nicki Minaj’s fans, who are called “Barbz.” The White House and Nicki Minaj’s representatives did not respond immediately to requests for comment.In a January 24 post on X, Nicki Minaj said the event is about “paying it forward” and helping children through early financial education and support, according to Nicki Minaj’s X post. Under this program, all children born between 2025 and 2028 will get a $1,000 deposit from the U.S. Treasury when parents open a Trump account.

Many big companies like Bank of America, Intel, Chime, SoFi, BlackRock, Robinhood, and Charles Schwab said they will match the $1,000 for their employees’ children. Michael Dell and his wife Susan pledged $250 for some children aged 10 and under who do not qualify for the Treasury’s $1,000 deposit.Some children in Connecticut may also get extra money from Ray Dalio and his wife Barbara, CNBC reported. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said more wealthy donors may join through a “50-state challenge,” speaking at a White House press conference last month.
