New Jersey Devils have traded their valuable defenseman Damon Severson to Columbus Blue Jackets.

NHL star and Canadian defenseman Damon Severson will play for Columbus Blue Jackets.The New Jersey Devils player will join the Blue Jackets on a trade-off contact.

He joined the Devils for USD 50 million deal but was a pending free agent right now and his club signed and trade off with the Blue Jackets.

The Devils drafted Damon Severson in 2012 and he made his debut in 2014-15.


Earlier New Jersey were heavily dependent on this Canadian player who switched between the second- and third-line pairings. Severson played in 81 games, scored 7 goals, and added 26 points for 33 points for New Jersey.

He participated in 647 games in his entire NHL career, scored 263 points, and accrued 388 PIMs.

Earlier the Blue Jackets acquired Ivan Provorov from the Philadelphia Flyers. Besides, the Blue Jackets are most likely to hire Mike Babcock as their new head coach.
