The NHL and Adidas collaborated to launch their first league-wide alternate jersey programme under the Reverse Retro moniker two years ago, and a new iteration has just been introduced including 32 new designs.

Fans can now choose from a set of 32 designs that imaginatively merge nostalgic pieces of the past with brand-new elements owing to the addition of the Seattle Kraken expansion to the mix.

It is to mention that the collocation of both, the old and the new appeals to two distinct demographics. The jerseys serve as recollections of the past for supporters who were around during those earlier eras. The designs also make use of modern trends that connects with Gen Z.

The new collection has a good mix of light and dark patterns, making it possible for rival teams to wear their Reverse Retro uniforms on the same night.
