How did Dane Jackson get the injury?

In the first half of the Buffalo Bills’ home game, Jackson was lying on the ground while tackling the Tennessee Titan’s Treylon Burks. Just then, Tremaine Edmunds, Jackson’s teammate, barreled in head first. Although he missed his target, the 6'5 linebacker’s helmet smashed Jackson’s helmet as it jerked back hard into his head.

What happened immediately after Dane Jackson's injury?

The accident took place late in the first half. Soon after the collision, the Bills’ medical team rushed to his support and took him to an ambulance. Bills coach Sean McDermott said he came to see Jackson in the ambulance at halftime. Later, the 25-year-old Buffalo Bills cornerback was taken to the hospital to get an X-ray and a CT scan.
