NFL Scouting Combine 2023: All you need to know

The NFL Scouting Combine 2023 is fast approaching, with hundreds of scouting department employees descending upon Indianapolis to evaluate more than 300 of the nation's top prospects.

The Combine is the first major event of the offseason, followed by free agency and the NFL Draft, which is perhaps the biggest event of the year in terms of foundational team-building. The Combine is being carried out from February 28 to March 6, with each day's on-field workouts starting at specific Eastern times, and it will be broadcasted on NFL Network and fuboTV.

Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis will host the Combine, which has been held in the city since 1987 and will continue to be held there through at least 2024. Although for the first time ever, the Combine was put out for bid, similar to the process of other league events like the NFL Draft and the Super Bowl, owners voted to keep it in Indianapolis for at least the next two years.


This year, 319 of college football's top prospects were invited to the NFL Scouting Combine. Stroud (QB), Ohio State, Myles Murphy (DL), Clemson, Will Levis (QB), Kentucky, Cam Smith (CB), South Carolina, Peter Skoronski (OT), Northwestern, Quentin Johnston (WR), TCU, Michael Mayer (TE), Notre Dame, Brian Branch (S), Alabama, Jordan Addison (WR), USC, Christian Gonzalez (CB), Oregon, Devon Witherspoon (CB), Illinois, O'Cyrus Torrence (OL), Florida, Tyree Wilson (EDGE), Texas Tech, Jahmyr Gibbs (RB), Alabama, Bijan Robinson (RB), Texas, Anthony Richardson (QB), Florida, and Joey Porter Jr. (CB), Penn State.



The draft order for the first round is already set, with only 31 picks this year after the Miami Dolphins were stripped of their first-round selection due to multiple violations of NFL rules. The Chicago Bears will have the first pick, followed by the Houston Texans, Arizona Cardinals, Indianapolis Colts, Seattle Seahawks (via Broncos), and Detroit Lions (via Rams).
