NFL Honors 2023: Here’s the list of winners in each category

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes was awarded the most coveted Most Valuable Player title, outperforming Philadelphia Eagles quarterback and Super Bowl LVII rival Jalen Hurts. It marks Mahomes' second MVP award, having won in 2018, and he now joins the ranks of only ten players in NFL history who have won the MVP award multiple times.

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson made a mark in history by becoming the fourth wide receiver to receive the Offensive Player of the Year award.
Jefferson's net worth in 2022 was estimated to be $7 million, with numerous brand endorsements to his name due to his impressive accomplishments.





Defensive Player of the Year was won by San Francisco 49ers defensive end Nick Bosa, who ran away with the award. Meanwhile, Brian Daboll was named Coach of the Year following a successful first season with the New York Giants.

The NFL Honors ceremony on Thursday saw several awards being handed out, including the prestigious award for Offensive Rookie of the Year and Bud Light Celly of the Year, among others.

AP Most Valuable Player

Patrick Mahomes, the quarterback for the Kansas City Chiefs, won the Associated Press (AP) Most Valuable Player (MVP) award for the 2022 NFL season.

AP Offensive Player of the Year

The AP Offensive Player of the Year award for 2023 was won by Justin Jefferson.
Jefferson received 35 votes, Patrick Mahomes received ten votes, Jalen Hurts received 3, Josh Allen received 1, and Tyreek Hill received 1. Justin Jefferson was the first player to receive the award at the NFL Honors show on February 9, 2023.

AP Defensive Player of the Year

AP Defensive Player of the Year for the 2023 NFL season was named Nick Bosa. He received 46 first-place votes, making it a landslide victory. He was named a finalist for the award along with Chris Jones and Micah Parsons.

The AP Coach of the Year for 2023 is Brian Daboll, the head coach for the New York Giants. He was announced as the winner on February 9, 2023. Brian Daboll was named as a finalist along with Kyle Shanahan and Doug Pederson on January 25, 2023.
