News channel host Laura Ingraham reacts to Herschel Walker's defeat, says 'I'm Mad'

News channel host Laura Ingraham's frustration was visible on her face when she covered the defeat of Republican challenger Herschel Walker in Tuesday’s runoff election in Georgia. Walker was in the running against the Democratic Sen. Raphael Warnock. Herschel Walker is the GOP candidate, who was backed by Donald Trump.

Ingraham, who is a Trump supporter, said, “I’m pissed tonight, frankly." The host on the issue further added, 'I'm mad'.

In the main election, which took place in November, neither candidate obtained a majority of the vote, as a result, a runoff was triggered in accordance with Georgia state law.


A 51-49 senate majority was given to the democrats with Warnock's win.

Earlier, Ingraham claimed that Senate Republicans were not completely supporting Walker. Despite the fact that the former football star has been accompanied by prominent GOP personalities for several of his TV appearances.

“There wasn’t the intensity on the part of the Republicans as there was on the part of the Democrats,” Ingraham said.



“But we don’t change anything. We have the same people in place in leadership,” the host added.

“The same people in place, apparently at the RNC, perhaps that’s not changing. We are doing the same thing over and over again,” the right-winger said.

Republicans, who had hoped to win broad majorities in Congress but were only able to squeeze out a narrow lead in the House, had to deal with a devastating midterm election defeat after Walker was wiped off the floor.

Last month, the GOP won the midterms with a similar razor-thin majority in the house.
