Rachel Minaya, the wife of New York Yankees executive Omar Minaya, has been found dead at their residence in New Jersey. She was 55-year-old, as per reports.

Rachel Minaya died on Saturday. The cause of death is not suicide, New York Post reported. Rachel Minaya is survived by husband Omar Minaya, two sons -- Justin and Teddy. Justin plays for Portland Trail Blazers summer league team in Las Vegas.



65-year-old Omar Minaya is a former general manager of New York Mets. Omar and Rachel Minaya got engaged in 1990. Omar served as the Montreal Expos' GM. He also worked lwith Texas Rangers, and San Diego.
